The Beauty Cluster Barcelona has organized the fourth edition of Beauty Innovation Day, one of the most outstanding events on innovation in the beauty sector.
The event, held at Fira Barcelona de Gran Vía, has once again become a meeting point for more than 250 attendees, who were able to see more than 20 presentations on new innovation projects focused on the latest trends in the industry.
The day focused on the areas of sustainability, digitization and research.
As a novelty, the BCB has developed an online platform for this edition that has made it possible to coordinate meetings among the attendees, allowing more than 170 meetings specially enabled for this networking activity.
Packaging corner
After the success of the first packaging corner held last year, the Beauty Cluster Barcelona, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, raised the challenge of developing a sustainable cosmetic packaging to the students of the UB Professional Design Degree.
A total of nine projects were presented as the first prize winner of the EVO group, formed by Sandra Jiménez, Marta Oliver and Judith Sistac, who designed a prototype that adapts different beauty treatments in a single device.
